Our Work

The St. Thomas Railway City Rotary Club is a dedicated group of community members that meet for fellowship, fun, networking, and above all else community service. We take seriously the needs of our community and work to help where we are able and always following the four-way test.

Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business, professional and community-minded people leaders to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and to advance goodwill and peace throughout the world. Together, we see a world where people unite and act to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Along with Bill and Diane Chantler, our newest me Along with Bill and Diane Chantler, our newest member Martine MacDonald welcomed our speaker, Andrew Middleton from St. Mary’s Rotary Club. Andrew shared about their International Project for the Mugoiri Secondary School Lavatory( in Kenya)🇰🇪. Knowing that education is the key to beating poverty, Rotary International projects help students, especially girls, to stay healthy and in regular school attendance. Moving from the old to the new lavatory is next for the school along with the gift of 14 laptops and basic building supplies to add furniture to the classrooms. Martine is happy to donate two laptops in support of this project. #rotaryinternational @rotarydistrict6330@stmarysrotaryclub
